MEGATIPS  = How To Re-Polarize Your Dynamo

After leaving your vehicle standing for long periods with a flat battery or replacing your dynamo you may need to re-polarize it.  To enable it to charge the battery correctly
  1. Disconnect battery
  2. Remove fan belt
  3. Remove all wires from dynamo
  4. Take a length of wire from the battery ''+'' terminal to the ''D+'' terminal on dynamo
  5.  Take a wire from battery ''-'' terminal to ''D-'' terminal on dynamo, then link ''D-'' to ''DF''.

The dynamo will turn like an electric motor.

6.  After 10 secs remove wires, and reconnect original connections.  JOB DONE.
