Single quiet pack EMPI exhaust system for 1300-1600cc engines in VW Beetles and Type 2 buses without a rear bumper. Includes small flange header, single quiet pack silencer in black with chrome tip tailpipe and fibre gaskets to fit.

If you own a 1974 on Beetle with the engine number starting AR you can only fit an original exhaust unless you change your twin hotspot inlet manifold to the more common single hotspot version

Using the Beetle version of the quiet pack on a bus with a rear bumper will leave a sooty mark on your bumper. If you have no rear bumper then this Beetle system is preferable but it may leave a small soot spot on the rear corner of your bus.

EMPI headers and mufflers are coated with a layer of paint which acts as a rust inhibitor during transit and storage and will burn off once they get hot. We recommend removing this paint with a good solvent then paint the system with a quality hi-temp paint.

These systems are not warranted against rust.
